One of the true gems of the coffee producing world is Rwanda, a small country that punches way above its weight class in beautiful flavors, unique profiles, and constant improvement. Our Rugali coffee is named for the washing station where it is processed from group lots collected by the local community, high in the mountains near the alpine lake of Lake Kivu. The combination of the unique microclimates, the local harvesting practices, and the highly sought-after red bourbon genetic variety give this coffee its “only-in-Rwanda” flavor profile. Light on its toes but bursting with flavor, this coffee is delicate, refreshing, and full of herbal, citrus, and candy-like sweet flavors.
