The latest iteration of Isa is the most beautiful one yet. For Isa, we select a high-grown washed coffee from Latin America in the most classic style: balanced, bright, sweet, and easy to drink.

This year's iteration is a perfect blend of brightness, sweetness, and body, with balanced flavors of citrus and chocolate. This particular lot is part of a reforestation project in Colombia spearheaded by our trading partners. The personal daily-drinker of our head roaster, Isa makes a flavorful espresso and a beautifully balanced filter coffee.

Los Osos Project

This year’s iteration of Isa marks a return to a favorite program in Colombia: The Los Osos ("The Bears") project organized by our partners at The Coffee Quest. Los Osos was born from an alliance with Parques Nacionales del Huila, in a shared effort to generate "buffer zones" around the Nevado Del Huila and reduce deforestation—The park provides native tree species and The Coffee Quest plants them in the farms of the producers.

Los Osos group lot is a tribute to the restoration and protection of biodiversity in Santa Maria, Huila. Named after the endangered Spectacled Bear, also known as the “Andean Bear,” this lot symbolizes the region’s unique wildlife.
