We spent weeks in our roastery lab finding the perfect blend of decaf and conventional coffee that gives you the full coffee experience, just with a softer impact on your mind and body. Five-O combines Colombian washed coffee decaffeinated using the sugar-cane method with deep-toned, chocolatey Brazilian natural coffee from our friends at Fazenda Passeio. Each component is roasted separately to perfection, then blended.

The result is beautiful specialty coffee you can drink any time of day. Designed to work well as espresso or filter.

Five-O brings together two coffees we know intimately.

The decaf component comes from the Santa Maria Cooperative in Huila, Colombia - the same community that produces our Isa coffee. Rather than harsh chemical treatment at industrial facilities, this coffee is decaffeinated right at origin using ethyl acetate derived from sugar cane. The process preserves flavor while gently removing caffeine.

The caffeinated half comes from Fazenda Passeio in Brazil's Minas Gerais region, where we've been working with Adolfo Vieira Ferreira for four years. We visit the farm annually to select lots in person. Adolfo's natural process coffee - hand-picked and sun-dried - brings rich chocolate character and full body. This is the same coffee that makes up our Paz.
